Hello house,

I am trying to run orca on the window 10 command prompt; each time I enter the command: "orca file.inp > file.out", I received fatal error saying input file cannot be opened. Any way out of this?

Regards.

Hi, Ibraheem.

I am not sure if Orca runs on windows operating system. Because, ordinarily, Orca runs on a linux-based system. The dos command line on windows is very primitive and can be used to access files on the computer or run some programs which are locally installed on the windows machine.

I would suggest you re-post your question the ORCA forum so that you can get quicker response to your query:

All the best!
